Hi, I’m Victoria !

I’m a 24 year old travel blogger from the UK, recent graduate and soon to be trainee teacher, who is slowly but surely trying to find my place in the world!

One of my favourites things in the world is travelling and experiencing new cultures. I come from a multinational family – my Dad being English and my Mum hailing from Poland, so have been exposed to different cultures, languages and cities from an early age. As I was growing up almost every holiday was spent making the trip across the channel to visit friends and family in Germany and France, and in my final year of Primary School my parents whisked me off on the adventure that really brought about my itchy feet and wander-lusting ways.

Interrail pass in one hand and my (ridiculously oversized) bag in the other, we set off for Europe ready to explore its major cities by train. We spent a month changing from one train to the next, passing through Brussels, Cologne, Berlin, Gdansk, Warsaw, Krakow, Prague, Vienna and Salzburg before ending up with a restful week with family outside of Dusseldorf. Almost every year since we have done similar trips exploring Europe by rail and there’s still way more I want to see, in Europe and further afield.

Over the years, travelling and everything to do with it, has become a real passion of mine – visiting new places, meeting new people, trying local delicacies – and my love of travel even influenced my university degree (Modern Languages and European Studies) and my career path, as I am about to start training to be a modern languages teacher – wish me luck!

Where I’ve been

In my 24 years I have been lucky enough to visit 28 countries across 4 continents…  and I’m still counting!

When I’m not travelling..

You’ll probably find me planning my next adventure or working on my blog, indulging in some retail therapy or in the kitchen, rustling up a recipe picked up on my travels.

I think it’s safe to say that I am a girl on the move and this blog aims to document my travels as well as share my tips and help to inspire people to get out there and see what this world has to offer.

So come along for the journey, with me, as I discover the world one place at a time!

Thank you for sharing your travels. It remains amazing to me that I found you through a dream. I am a retired teacher, so am excited your career path is in education. Greetings and Godspeed from Virginia, USA.

Hi Nancy, so nice to hear from you and sorry for the delay in my reply! I’m so happy that you found me and like my blog. I’ve made it through my training year and am now in my first year of being a ‘real’ teacher – needless to say it is hard work and I’m finding it quite hard to balance my work and my life but I’m hanging on in there! Best wishes from England!!
